Hi, I’m Nora.

I’m a Product and Service Designer from Scotland living in Melbourne.

I’ve been working on the craft of UX + UI Design with clients large and small, based around the world over the last 15 years.

Since completing my Masters in Product Design Engineering at the Glasgow School of Art, I’ve been working to produce beautiful, human-centred and high quality digital products and services for companies like Siemens Healthineers, Three UK and Play HQ, tackling problems like how to create a suite of brand approved and user-friendly icons for medical teams to save time finding protocols, or re-designing an e-commerce site using heuristics and market analyses, supported with live data analytics to boost revenue.

There’s little I will shy away from in the field of UX + UI design. From design strategy, design systems creation or conceptual design through to forming an information architecture, conducting detailed user research, or producing dev ready products & services, these are all part and parcel of the fascinating tools of the trade I get to work and play with most days.

Above all else, I care about creating experiences that are rooted deeply in human insight. Specializing in User Research, I’ve become affectionately known as the “Synth Queen” to my peers and I approach data analysis, test recruitment and task generation as a serious sport, focused on finding out the most critical insights to inform any product or service I’m working on, to make it truly usable and useful.

Have you got software, an app or website needing some UX or UI design attention? Get in touch to collaborate! I'm up for remote or Melbourne-based roles and would be delighted to serve you and your users with my expertise.
